ATP, the governing body of men’s professional tennis, announced two new ATP 250 events to be held in Singapore and Marbella, Spain in the year 2021. Both events will be held at the OCBC Arena, an indoor hard court venue located in the Singapore Sports Hub.

The two new tournaments join the current four Grand Slams on the calendar, which includes the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and US Open. The three-week event is the first ATP tournament to be held in Singapore since ATP awarded the event to the city in 2014.

The ATP 250 in Singapore will be the first professional men’s tournament to be held in the city in over 15 years. The event will be organised by Sport Singapore (SportSG), the national agency for sports in Singapore, and will be supported by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB).

The ATP 250 will feature the world’s top players in an international men’s tournament. The tournament will be run on a single-year licence, meaning it will be a one-off visit on the ATP calendar.
